It is with much happiness that we can announce our successful bid for funding through
RedRow Homes to help us deliver our Builder Book boxes and workshops to families in the
Halewood Area of Merseyside.
Following our experience of working in this community as part of the summer HAF/Snap
program, we wanted to return to offer more of our interactive workshop experiences and
giant den building with children and families, using our ‘whole child therapy’ approach.
This means parents and guardians can stay and play alongside their children. We have found
that when parents have a positive attachment with an activity, the outcome is likely to be
longer lasting and much more meaningful.
Thank you so much to the team at RedRow homes, we are now one step closer to delivering
child mental health workshops and activities to 3000 families later this year.
